the bone marrow is located inside the bone. if you have ever taken a look at a bone (even animal bones) they have they tiny little holes in them. these holes transport the new blood from the bone marrow into the blood stream. i held a femur bone of a deer (i think it was a deer) it had only a few or couple of holes in it to allow blood from the bone marrow.
