on your heel. especially for people who walk "hard heeled", or heavily land on the heel every time they take a step. The heel bone is quite large and dense though so it is made to carry this amount of weight. This is also why when women wear high heels, they have a lot of foot problems! because the weight is suddenly shifted to the ball of the foot, the part right behind the toes, it is in an area that is not meant to carry the weight of the person. It can cause bruising and over time, permanent bone and tendon damage. Healthy feet are comfy feet!
