You should be eating lots of GREEN veggies as well as some fruit to give you energy. Have protein ( mean, eggs, soy beans) and have a small portion of carbs.
It is very important to watch the amount of calories you consume in your beverages. This is where most people indulge. They think "its liquid... it cant be bad" WRONG. Drinks such as juice and pop have a high caloric value. Drink juice in moderation and drink LOTS of water (8 Glasses a day!). If you NEEEED juice... you can always use half a cup of water and half a cup of juice, instead of one cup of juice. Reduces the amound of calories you are drinking and trust me... it tastes the same!
