Answer: Short answer... most likely not. Most people who are obese have it in their genes. Others just let themselves go. I suppose if their was no television certain people would be more fit because they could not just sit around all day eating and watching t.v. , but there would still be other things to do instead of working out. Television is not what caused me to gain weight, but my distant cousin gained about 10 pounds when he bought his t.v. I know many healthy people with televisions. Again, it really depens.
